πŸͺ™NadCred: The Reputation System of NadDAO

In our community, understanding who to trust and identifying those with proven abilities is crucial. Our reputation system, NadCred, is designed to capture and quantify member contributions, giving project leads insight into which members are reliable and have a track record of successful work.

NadCred points function like a DAO credit score. They reflect the value a member has added to NadDAO and the broader ecosystem through their skills and contributions. Higher NadCred scores indicate a member's consistent and impactful involvement in community projects.

How is NadCred Allocated?

NadCred points are allocated based on a simple formula:

Here’s how it works:

  • Effort: The total time and energy a member dedicates to a project.

  • Molandak: A multiplier that ranges from 1.0 to 5.0. This number reflects the project's importance and impact.

Total Creds = Total Time taken * Molandak * NadCred

example:- 100hrs * 1 * 170

The multiplier, referred to as the "Molandak," ranges from 1.0 to 5.0. A low multiplier is applied to projects that are useful but not groundbreaking, while a high multiplier is given for critical or impactful projects.

For example, if a project requires significant effort and has high importance, it might receive a Molandak of 4.0 or 5.0, resulting in higher NadCred. Conversely, a less critical project might only receive a Molandak of 1.0 or 2.0.

Factors Affecting Molandak Score

Several factors can influence the Molandak score for a project:

  • Impact of the open-source contribution on the project

  • Visibility of the project

  • Benefits to the community

  • Attracting more talent to the community

  • Creating future business opportunities for community members
